ROSIE'S sapphire blue eyes watched her team mate dive on the ground in terror . Her scream was as lound as a lions roar. Rosie's friend snapped her ligament in four places. Rosie
 cried like a water fall streaming in the lake below. It was now all up to her to  win the final game for her team. She intercepted the ball like a pro - passed it to the center and who passed it back Rosie shot it and suddenly it all went silent. Swish! She scored the winning goal for her team and unexpectedly they the anz net ball champion ships



Martin Luther Kind Jr

Martin Luther King,Jr was a great man who worked for racial equality and civil rights in the USA.He was born on January 15,1929,in Atlanta,Georgia.Both his father and grandfather were minsters.His mother was a school teacher who tough him how to read before he went to school.Young Martin was an excellent student in school. 

After graduating from college and getting married,Dr King became active in the movement for civil rights.He participated in the moutgomerny,Alabama,bus boycott and many other peaceful demonstrations that protested the unfair treatment of African- Americans.He won the nobel peace prize in 1964

Dr King was assassinated on april 4,1968 in memphis tenessee. Commemorating the life of a tremendously important leader,we celebrate Martin Luther King day each year in January,the month of his birth.
